Nike T-Shirt Customization
Interaction Design

Key Takeaway
At Steady, a boutique digital agency, my team designed, built, and installed an innovative personalization and printing station using custom software and hardware.
Following a successful initial release at Finish Line HQ, our system was launched in-store at select locations before expanding nationwide.
Background
Nike set out to "create brand energy" by launching a retail pilot using a giant touch-based interface and a treasure trove of exclusive logos, artwork, patterns, and colors.
Individually, my challange was to imagine an experience unlike any I had ever seen, blending digital and physical worlds to produce a wearable and personalized object on the spot. How might this novel screen inspire customers to explore, design, and purchase a t-shirt?
