Poachit Savings
UX design

Key Takeaway
At Poachit, a wishlist app, I led end-to-end design across mobile, web, and browser extensions. I created an intuitive experience for a community of 300,000 shoppers, saving $40M+ through coupons and price tracking.
This innovation set the stage for competitors like Honey, which later dominated the space and was acquired for $4B by PayPal.
The Idea
Following Pinterest's success, we implemented a new and popular user interaction: bookmarking items with a browser extension. By building a similar product with integrated discounts to compete with companies like RetailMeNot, Poachit offered shoppers deals on the specific products they wanted. Pin inspiration. Poach deals.
Core Experience
After adding the browser extension or the app, shoppers saved items from thousands of online merchants. They were notified of price drops and served verified coupon codes at checkout.
